Twisted
I’ve often heard people saying to another “You’ve grown old and wayward!” But even so, wayward people still have the chance to correct themselves. It is unlikely though for this old, old coconut tree that has grown in front of our apartment; I never have seen such crooked coconut tree in my whole life. I’ve seen sloping coconut trees but not one as twisted as this.
My father-in-law in fact was amazed at the sight of this tree, farmers as they were before, he has not seen all his life a coconut tree as bent as this. Judging by the appearance and height of the tree, he estimated that the tree could be around 60 to 70 years old. Oh well this coconut tree could also be the oldest coconut tree in the city.
