I seldom see people playing mandolin nowadays. The last time I see a person playing mandolin live (like in front of me) was when I was eight years old. My grandfather used to play mandolin but when they left and live in another city that was the end of it.
That is why I was amazed to learn that there is a electric mandolin, anyhow, many if not all musical instrument nowadays have electronic counterpart; electric guitar, electric violin, electric piano, and more. I saw this fender mandocaster in an online musical instrument store and can’t help to be excited. I don’t know why but probably because I am thrilled to know if there will be somebody out there one day will come to our studio and would play a mandolin.
I don’t know when but surely we will have one of those in our music studio.
